Stay with Us

Accommodations

Sueño de Vida is a living example of natural and sustainable construction. We built our sturctures with native materials such as bamboo, clay plaster, palm leaves, and other repurposed materials like grain bags, wood pallets, and glass bottles.

In keeping with our mission to show people the benefits of healthful and harmonious living, our accommodations are sparse but comfortable. They reflect our philosophy of minimizing our personal footprint on the world around us while emphasizing the rewards of simplicity, slowing down, and immersing yourself in the natural world.

Our freshly roasted organically grown cacao will make you forget all about the usual morning iced coffee.

Tranquil evenings filled with the gentle sounds of the cloud forest point the way to nights of profound rest.

If you need a recharge, unplug from the busy-ness and come stay at Sueño de Vida.

Cuisine

Food at Sueño de Vida is always fresh, tasty, and creative. A good portion of our produce comes directly from our food forest. We are not "strict" vegetarians, but we do follow and advocate a primarily plant-based diet consistent with our regenerative living message.

We have access to a unique diversity of products grown in our immediate area as well, from heart of palm to coffee and other tropical fruits. If you haven’t tasted the sweet and creamy fruit of the cacao tree, you’re in for a treat.

We offer a healthful variety of meals that will leave you satisfied and well-nourished.

Sueño de Vida is a working farm — we rise with the light and retire at dark.
Because of this, breakfast and lunch are our biggest meals of the day; we don’t skip them.

Fresh fruit and herbal tea are available throughout the day.

The kitchen closes at 6 PM.

What to Bring

We’ve beat back a lot of bush to make things more comfortable. Fortunately, we are located at an altitude too high for yellow fever and dengue. However, this is the forest, and there are bugs. Bugs that bite. Pack light and comfortable clothing that covers your arms and legs while outdoors — you will enjoy nature more, not be irritated by it. We’ve put together some easy guidelines to help you enjoy your stay. Temperatures here are comfortable, never too hot or cold, but subtropical, equatorial sun is no joke.
